The Neighborhood Watch
The group of heroes known as the Watch operate chiefly in Rorke's Row. Typically they operate independently, but on occasions they have been known to team up with other available heroes to complete dangerous assignments. Clearance level Gamma. Of the six original members, only one is still an active hero. The Hammer, is the oldest member of the team at the age of 25, the rest of the members are younger. The highly fluctuating member count of the Watch is probably attributed to the teams base of operations as well as most of the members coming from Rorke's Row, where things are often in turmoil and rapidly changing.

Red Ronin- Identity Type: Public. Peter Chan was always obsessed with feudal Japan as a young boy. After the war he decided to become a hero, to help protect his new home in Union City. He uses augmented cyber armor and weapons based on feudal Japanese warriors. Follows a strict code of honor. Preferred weapon: Laser Katana
Liquid - Identity Type: Public. Timothy Barkowski was working as a janitor in a research lab that was doing work on experimental alloy's when an accident caused him to come into contact with a variant of liquid metallic alloy that immediately became bonded to him. Now Timothy can mentally control the Liquid Metal and have it preform various tasks. It can maintain a liquid like consistency or harden tougher then steel and in various shapes. Preferred Weapon: Warhammer
Dragon Lady - Identity Type: Public. Courtney Levin is the youngest member of the Watch. At only sixteen years old, she is also a very powerful member. She has undergone several cyber surgeries to transform her body into a Dragon Human Hybrid. She has retractable hardened scales that can cover her body, a prehensile tail with a weighted end, muscular implants making her much stronger and more resilient, and a special surgery which placed a pair of small sacks in her throat that fill with a gas. When she expels the gas, it ignites on contact with the air giving her the ability to literally breathe fire like the dragons of legend. Preferred Weapon: Fire Breath
The Hammer - Identity Type: Public. Kyle Walker did not undergo Cyber or Gene surgery to become super powered. He was born that way. Completely ordinary and unremarkable, he was however very caring and kind, with a strong sense of justice. When he became a teenager, he was able to turn his passion for doing the right thing into a cause. His skin hardened, became unbreakable, his strength grew exponentially, he discovered he could fly at sonic speeds. And he quickly became a leading member in the Neighborhood watch. The reasons why such a powerful individual would remain with a rudimentary group like the Watch is unknown. He is by far the most powerful member of the team, and most consider him wasting his talent remaining with them, when he could form his own group, as yet he has shown no prospect of doing so. Preferred weapon: Unarmed
The Vanguard
During the Drozonan War, shortly after the initial attack, The UN formed an emergency Team of powerful heroes from across the globe that answered directly to the UN and operated on all fronts. Called the Vanguard, this group was comprised of some of the world's best and brightest heroes.
After the invasion had been stopped, and the war ended, the Vanguard remained active, their sole purpose the continued hunting and eliminating of Drozonan threats. The United Nations officially dissolved the group, and their headquarters was relocated to the area with the highest concentration of Drozonan's on the planet, Union City. The city graciously allowed the Vanguard to take up residency, granting them a never before given Alpha Clearance to the team, which gives them supreme jurisdiction over the UCPD and other hero groups when related to matters of the Drozonan. They are also the most isolated super team on the planet. Never working with other Super Teams, and only offering a spot on their team to a well established hero of Beta Class. So far in Union city the Vanguard has not made many records public to city hall, the submitted member profiles can be reviewed below.
Known Member Information
The Dark Watcher - Identity Type: Secret. Very little is known about the leading man of the Vanguard, his team mates know most, and they probably couldn't tell you his real name. Certain things are known about him however. One of those things is that, the Dark Watcher has been an active hero since the 1970's. And thus far he hasn't noticeably aged. He has powers over darkness and shadows, can merge and become one with them. And he fights Drozonan's with a vigor that is unmatched. He is always seen wearing a heavy black jacket, a cowboy hat, and a gun belt with two long barreled heavy revolvers on it. Preferred Weapon: Dual pistols.
Spirit Drummer - Identity Type: Secret. Most individuals who live in Union City would say that anyone who willingly fights super villain's and attacks alien invaders must be super powered, or have at their disposal a wide array of specialized weapons and tools. Spirit Drummer is the exception to to this rule. He is a martial artist, and his combat skill in close range hand to hand combat is nearly unparalleled. He has been known to paralyze, cripple, or outright disable much larger, stronger, and super powered enemies with targeted precise attacks. How he became affiliated with the Vanguard is unknown, but he has been a loyal and faithful member since the beginning, and he has more then proven his worth to the people of Union City. Preferred Weapon: Unarmed
Crystal - Identity Type: Secret. The blonde bombshell of the Vanguard. Can harden her body to a crystalline diamond like hardness. In her hardened form, she has he ability to shape weapons and other objects out of the crystalline substance she is made of. Forming maces and hammers out of her fists and wings on her back to allow her to fly. She is by far the most vocal member of the Vanguard, though oftentimes she is prohibited from speaking to the public thanks to the Watcher keeping close tabs on her. But she has been known to speak to the press, with her super powers and super model like appearance, the Camera's love her. Preferred weapon: Slam
